Andrea Constand Testifies at Bill Cosby Sexual Abuse Civil Trial in California
Cosby survivors Janice Baker-Kinney and Victoria Valentino are scheduled to take the stand today
The New York Times published a story today about what happened at Donna Motsinger’s civil trial yesterday when Andrea Constand testified, so there’s no need for me to write much because you can read it here.
One courtroom observer told me Constand was strong and confident on the stand. “She was good on direct, and on cross, Andrea looked even more honest and authentic,” the observer said.
Cosby survivors Janice Baker-Kinney and Victoria Valentino are expected to testify today. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Brad Phillips issued an order last Friday approving five Cosby survivors to testify, but, for whatever reason, Motsinger’s attorney Jesse Creech is only having three of them take the stand. Motsinger, 84, and her son are expected to testify Monday.
There may not be much of a media presence at the trial, but Cosby survivors and their supporters have been attending each day to stand behind Motsinger (see below).
